WHO WE ARE
The STRIKE 4 A CURE Foundation is a non-profit charitable organization headquartered at 136 Richmond Street, Atlanta, Georgia, 30312 USA and organized under the laws of the state of Georgia. STRIKE 4 A CURE foundation is the sister foundation to MAKE PLAYS FOR AFRICA.
The STRIKE 4 A CURE Foundation is dedicated to inspiring hope and providing economic resources to researchers in the quest to find a cure for HIV/AIDS and Alzheimer’s disease.
GOALS FOR THE STRIKE 4 A CURE FOUNDATION
Raise awareness
- Provide forums for the exchange of ideas pertaining to Alzheimer’s and HIV awareness for Minorities.
- Facilitate the presentation of programs and the production of materials providing learning opportunities about Alzheimer’s and HIV.
- Encourage additional dialogue among researchers who can contribute to the Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter and AESM knowledge base.
Educate
- Advance the knowledge base of the Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter and AESM.
- Provide scholarships for undergraduate and graduate students in the field of Alzheimer’s and HIV research and awareness programs.
Raise funds to find a cure
- Plan and implement an on-going total development program that establishes endowment funds, as well as restricted and unrestricted funds, that will support the research and educational goals of the STRIKE 4 A CURE Foundation
The financial goal of “STRIKE 4 A CURE” for 2008 is to raise $1,000,000 to benefit the Alzheimer’s Association Georgia Chapter and AESM. These organizations play a vital role in our communities and their missions reflect Osi Umenyiora’s dedication to supporting a worthy cause.
